Sebastian Harvey, PsyD
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works primarily with adolescents and adults, with a particular interest in supporting college students and young adults. I enjoy working with people navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, identity development, major life transitions, and the pressures that can come with academics, athletics, work, and figuring out what comes next.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, active, and individualized. I draw from evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral, acceptance-based, and trauma-informed approaches, while recognizing that therapy should not feel like a one-size-fits-all process. I work to understand both what someone is struggling with and the broader context of their life, relationships, values, strengths, and goals.
I aim to create a space where clients can be candid about what is going well, what is not, and what they would like to change. Depending on a client's needs, our work may involve developing practical strategies for managing symptoms, understanding patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships, processing difficult experiences, or identifying ways to live more consistently with their values. My goal is for therapy to provide both a supportive relationship and meaningful, practical movement toward the changes that matter to each client.
