Shalanda Tookes Wilder, LPC-Associate
College and early adulthood can be some of the most exciting years of your life- and also some of the most stressful. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or just not quite like yourself, you're not alone, and you don't have to keep pushing through it on your own.
I'm Shalanda, owner of TookesWilder Guidance, providing counseling and career coaching services. I am licensed as a therapist and hold career coaching and employment interviewing certifications. I have a passion for helping young people navigate the pressures and transitions that come with this stage of life. Whether you're dealing with academic stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or a general sense that something feels off, I'm here to help you make sense of it. My holistic (whole person) approach is person-centered with a cognitive behavior therapy focus as we work together to help you identify mental blocks and shift thought patterns causing your blocks.
We can meet in-person or virtually through secure video so that you have one less commute to fit into your schedule. I offer a sliding scale fee for students and those who are military-affiliated. I welcome you to reach out and set up your first, initial session, a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a therapeutic match.
