In our first session together, I also welcome you to my real or virtual office and I invite you to make it your own safe space. I explain that therapy is a process, a relationship, and an adventure. It's also a gift of discovery and renewal that only you can give to yourself, especially in our challenging days. In this process, my role is to listen, to support, to challenge, to guide, and to celebrate you as you are becoming more courageous to face the parts of yourself you were avoiding, more accepting of yourself and of others, and fully present in your life. For over 25 years, I have practiced psychotherapy with people from all walks of life. My approach evolves as your process deepens and your needs change. As an ordained minister, I also have training and formation in spiritual direction and I can help you explore spiritual and faith concerns as part of the therapy process. I believe we are created with a tremendous capacity for good and we are given inner resources to overcome the gravest difficulties. This faith renews my love for my work and my strength as a therapist. I feel the greatest joy when I witness people's healing from emotional pain as they are making peace with the past and with the challenges of the present.

As a skilled psychotherapist, my goal is to help you lead the life that you desire through psychotherapy. I pair my training with evidence-based approaches such as EMDR for trauma and use techniques to determine where changes can be made to help you find relief and fulfillment in your life. My practice consists of individuals, couples and families with a variety of issues including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Through a strengths-based lens, my clients learn to improve coping skills, work through issues, as well as develop insight, understanding, and the confidence to improve the journey in their lives

If you are the person, everyone turns to, who do YOU turn to? You give everything to everyone else but never have time for you. It gets tiring always being the ''strong'' one. I see you. You might be struggling to get through the day or question yourself and your worth. This can look like anxiety, depression, problems recovering from a traumatic experience as an adult or as a child. I want to help you know what you DESERVE. Find the life you want and be more in control of your thoughts, emotions, and choices. Let's look inward and do this difficult but deeply important and rewarding work together. Currently, I can see clients who reside in Pennsylvania, California and North Carolina.

Supervised by Cory Candelas, LMFT #106895 If you’re looking for a therapist who can hype you up and gently (or not-so-gently) call you out, we might be a good fit. Expect honesty, humor, and compassion in equal measure. Think supportive older sister energy: accountability with a lot of care. I work with teens, young adults, and high-achievers who look put together but feel overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected. We’ll build coping skills and do deeper emotional work because sometimes you’re living with a broken heart and are still expected to keep showing up.

If you are neurodivergent or queer, you may feel like you have to hide your true self in fear of being rejected by others. You often mimic others to fit in, hide your true self, and strive for perfection to gain acceptance. Simply for being yourself, you're labeled as "weird," "strange," or "different," leading to deep feelings of isolation. If you're figuring out your differences or struggling with your needs, there is a way to go from just getting by to doing well. Clients come to me for help understanding their autism, ADHD, or queer identity. They value my knowledge in neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ issues. I strongly support you in embracing and discovering your true self, standing by you throughout your journey. The right therapist for you listens without judgment or projecting normative expectations. Working together, you'll release long-suppressed tears and gain 'aha!' insights into your past and present. Email me for a free 15-minute consultation to see if I'm the right fit for you!

When people ask me what my ideal client I actually wonder what's people's ideal therapists? I think this is important when thinking about an ideal client and therapists because I see it as a collaborative work. I'm not here to force you what I think is best for you, therapy is something both the client and therapist figure out together to meet the clients' needs and goals. I find it important to keep in mind intersectionalities and how society and culture play an important role. I enjoy working with different diversities such as LGBTQ+, culture, and etc. I also work with trauma using informal exposure, art therapy, teen therapy, and couples therapy. I also love doing work involving aspects of DBT therapy such as mindfulness. I know the therapy process is hard, but I want to try to make anyone feel they can be themselves (sometimes I use humor when appropriate). Searching for the right therapist is hard so whether it's me or not I encourage you to keep looking and find who's right for you out there. Feel free to reach out for a phone consult or email!

Hi! I'm a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with college students across a range of concerns. College can bring a lot of unexpected demands, struggles, and adjustments, and it can be helpful to speak with someone who can join alongside you as you navigate these experiences. While I specialize in working with stress/anxiety, neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD and Autism), and relationship conflict, I've worked with many college students on their overall adjustment to college life. My therapeutic approach is warm and relational and is grounded in an attachment-based framework. In therapy, we often include a focus on both deepening insight and self-understanding (answering the "why?" questions) with practical tools and strategies you can use to get you to where you want to be (supporting you with the "what now?" focus). I use a self-compassionate lens in my work and integrate evidence-based approaches that are tailored to your individual needs. If you'd like to learn more about my approach or see if we could be a good fit, reach out today for a free consultation call. I look forward to speaking with you.

I work with adults and adolescents who are often times struggling with anxiety or depression. Sometimes, there aren't obvious symptoms; instead, there's a sense that something seems to be interfering with their ability to be happy, their relationships, or the life they want to live. I help people see themselves from a new angle, uncovering unconscious beliefs and seeing the collective parts of themselves from a new and accepting perspective. I am accepting new remote clients in California and remote and/or in-person clients in Oregon. Please visit my website to learn more.

Feeling triggered, dissociated, anxious, or stuck in patterns like people-pleasing or avoidance? Lost, confused, or frustrated as you navigate big questions about your identity, relationships, or future? You don’t have to figure it all out alone—I’m here to help. Your 20s are tough—full of transitions, uncertainty, and unexpected challenges. It can feel like a lot to handle on your own, but with the right support, you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. I specialize in helping emerging adults like you navigate this transformative decade. My approach is holistic and inclusive, and I have expertise in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. Does the challenges of being a student have you feeling stressed, alone, or confused? Are you unsure about how you even got to this place? Would you like a secure and confidential way to sort out how to balance your home, school, and personal life? I am an African American woman, mother, and former military spouse from a multicultural household. I have witnessed the stressors that outside issues have on, students, families, couples, and individuals. My approach to therapy is Collaborative, Client-Centered, and Narrative. I work alongside my clients to find solutions and alternative ways of looking at the problems that are coming up in their lives. Using both Collaborative and Narrative Therapy frameworks, allows me to view my clients separate from their problems– instead focusing on their values, strengths, skill sets, and resources. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I want to acknowledge the bravery it takes to make the first step to sorting out life’s stressors and challenges. If you choose me, I look forward to building an honest, trusting, and helpful relationship with you that honors your preferences.
