Being authentic matters to me. I show up as a real person in the therapy room, and I want you to feel like you can do the same. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, open up, and unpack everything you’ve been carrying: the stress, the thoughts you keep to yourself, the experiences you’ve been through, and all the stuff life has handed you. When people feel safe enough to be honest and real, that’s when therapy really helps. I’m informal, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. I believe that the relationship between us is far more important than any technique or theory. When you feel comfortable, understood, and really seen, you’re more likely to take risks, speak your truth, and make real changes. That said, I do bring strong clinical training when it’s useful. I have advanced training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. REBT is one tool in my toolbox and something we can use to help you understand and challenge your thoughts, shift unhelpful patterns, and create new ways of responding to stress, relationships, and life in general. But therapy with me isn’t rigid or overly structured. It’s a conversation. It’s two humans sitting down, figuring things out together. If you’re motivated to change, to feel better, to understand yourself more deeply, or to get clearer about where you want your life to go, I can help you.

Hi! We are a group therapy practice with a location in Denver and the ability to meet virtually throughout Colorado. We support students as they navigate life through and after college. Our team of kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and light-hearted clinicians have a wide range of specialties. We get the broad range of college life - challenges of academics, social navigation, deciding whether college is right for you, what to do next, family conflict that may arise, supporting learning differences, finding clarity on what you want and how you want to live your life.

As a therapist, I aim to help individuals navigate the sometimes messy, uncomfortable parts of growth so they can move toward a life that feels more authentic. I create a space for clients to be with and feel their emotions fully so that they stop controlling their behaviors. I believe that we must be intentional with what we spend our time and energy on. When we decide what matters most to us and channel our energy into those things, rather than the things that drain us, this is when we can create real, lasting change. Therapy with me is about learning how to shift your focus to the here and now; towards what strengthens you, rather than what drains you. I am a trauma-informed, relational, collaborative provider and when working with me, clients can expect a combination of compassionate challenging, emotional attunement and a warm, supportive presence. I am passionate about my work with teens, young adults and adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship struggles, self-esteem issues and trauma. I also specialize in EMDR, Brainspotting and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and often incorporate a blend of modalities in treatment, depending on each client’s unique needs. If you’re ready to step into the next version of yourself, I’d love to be part of your journey. Let’s get started.

Many of the students I work with appear to have everything under control, yet privately feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of themselves. You may be struggling with stress, perfectionism, relationships, family expectations, loneliness, depression, or major life transitions. Some students are navigating identity, independence, or the challenges of balancing academics, work, and personal life, or simply feel stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

I have over ten years of experience providing thoughtful, holistic care to people navigating life’s challenges. I especially enjoy working with college students who may be struggling with anxiety, relationships, identity, trauma, or simply trying to figure out who they are and where they fit. Maybe you’ve spent years feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like you have to “mask” to fit in. Maybe past experiences have affected your relationships, confidence, or ability to feel safe and connected. Or maybe you’re navigating college while trying to understand yourself in a whole new way. Whether you’re working through past experiences, exploring neurodiversity, or simply looking for support during a major life transition, therapy can be a space to slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with your authentic self. My goal is to help you recognize the strengths you already have, develop tools that actually fit you, and build a life where you can thrive—not just survive.

My work is built on a foundation of the belief that everyone possesses health, sanity, and wisdom regardless of how disconnected they feel from it or the problems presenting in their life. I support clients tired of being pathologized and ready to become authors of their own experience through self-defined narratives of healing. For over 10 years, I served my community as a crisis counselor in various capacities and sat with folks experiencing the worst moment of their lives. I have yet to meet a person who is beyond help or "too much." Through my career, I have honed a unique ability to work with suicidal thoughts, addiction, anger and psychosis. You are not broken. You are not alone. From city streets to field medical tents in the mountains, I have seen the most extreme forms of mental anguish and learned even in the darkest nights there is always hope, beauty and resilience to be found. Let me help you discover the same.

Hi, I am Misty. I work with college students, children, teens and adults who feel worn down by anxiety, low mood, stress, or health changes and want to feel steady and present again. You might reach out for support with depression, anxiety, ADHD, burnout, or trouble sleeping, yet what you are really longing for is relief, clarity, and a sense that your mind and body are finally on the same team. Many of my clients are caregivers or helping professionals who show up for everyone else and are ready for a space that is just for them, where they can slow down, be heard, and begin to restore balance. In our work together, I offer warm, collaborative care that helps you feel seen while we untangle what is happening beneath the surface. I provide holistic medication management, CBT and DBT-style therapy, help with ADHD and burnout struggles, and support for major depressive disorder. If you feel tired of carrying so much on your own, you are not alone. You deserve a space where you can slow down, be heard, and feel supported. If this resonates, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you take the next step.

It can be scary to admit that something in your life isn't working. Maybe you have found that the feelings of insecurity, hopelessness, or dread just won't go away, no matter how much time and effort you put in. I understand the embarrassment that can come with talking about our perceived pitfalls. Every person experiences their own hardships, and we all need the proper time and space to work through them. I have seen the healing and growth that comes from reflecting on our patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. I will help you discover how these patterns developed and how we can bring lasting change to your life. Starting therapy can be intimidating. I empathize with you and admire the courage it takes to open up to a stranger. I am proud of you. Please feel free to call me or send me a message.
