Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying the same stress, grief, relationship struggles, or emotional pain for far too long. You may feel frustrated that despite your efforts, the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, communication feels difficult, burnout has taken over, or life no longer feels sustainable in the way it once did. Some clients come in feeling anxious, emotionally drained, lost in a major life transition, or unsure how to reconnect with themselves or the people they love. If this sounds like you, I'm glad you're here. I specialize in working with young adults and couples experiencing relationship distress, emotional disconnection, attachment injury, burnout, betrayal trauma, separation, and major life transitions. I also support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with these changes. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process rooted in honesty, connection, and compassion. Using a person-centered, attachment-based approach, I work alongside clients to explore the emotions and patterns keeping them stuck. Together, we work toward healing, healthier relationships, and greater overall balance, hope, and fulfillment.

College can be exciting, meaningful, and full of opportunity-but it can also feel overwhelming at times. If you are struggling with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or uncertainty about your future, you don't have to navigate it alone. I enjoy working with college students and young adults in helping them manage the different life stresses that occur during these times. Therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself and develop practical tools for moving forward. My approach is collaborative and evidenced based. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and insight-oriented therapy to help you reduce anxiety while building resilience, confidence, and self compassion. Therapy can help you quiet the constant self criticism, improve relationships, , make decisions with greater confidence, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I am licensed in California and Colorado. My physical office is in San Diego for those who prefer in-person. I also offer telemedicine appointments. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength. I would be glad to help you navigate this important chapter of your life with greater clarity, confidence, and peace

Hi, I am Heather. I work with clients who feel ready to explore challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being, relationships, or daily life. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, attachment concerns, family conflict, and life transitions. Hello! I am currently accepting new patients. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Colorado. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options. This is a judgement free zone. There is no way you can TMI me! My primary role in our sessions is diagnosis, evaluation and medication management. The role I have in therapy is very small. Most clients are already in therapy or have been referred by therapists to me. All sessions are conducted by tele-medicine. **Offering flexible hours, evening appointments available, also some weekends. **

Hi, I'm Michael, I understand that tackling life's challenges can feel daunting. We can feel overwhelmed, and not sure where to start. Whether you are going through a tough time or have been grappling with an ongoing mental health concern, therapy can be a tool to help you learn more about yourself and develop strategies to better manage these challenges. Prior to going into private practice I worked in college counseling for 5 years so I am familiar with the unique challenges college students face in managing their mental health while in school. In working with me, clients can expect to have a warm and non-judgmental space where they can work through personal challenges as well as work towards goals and areas of growth. Outside of work I enjoy catching a horror movie, hiking, and spending time with my diva of a cat. Some of my areas of clinical interest include, relationship and family issues, college counseling, trauma, anxiety, non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, substance use, grief & loss, and depression. I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and have experience providing safe and affirming therapy for trans and non-binary clients. Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is so important. If you are interested in learning more about me and my approach to therapy please reach out and we can schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I work with college students and young adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, performance pressure, and emotional shutdown — even when they are capable and motivated. Many of the students I support struggle with test anxiety, presentations, interviews, perfectionism, panic symptoms, or the sense that their nervous system goes into “fight or flight” under pressure. Others experience anxiety and depression together, which can affect motivation, focus, and connection. My approach is neuroscience-informed and practical. I use evidence-based therapies including EMDR, ACT, CBT, Polyvagal-informed therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients regulate their nervous system, reduce reactivity, and build confidence in real-world situations. I provide a supportive, structured space where students can develop tools to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience

You might be a good fit for working with me if you feel like you’re holding a lot inside. Maybe you look like you have it together on the outside, but internally you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted—especially when it comes to relationships with family, partners, or friends. You might be dealing with stress from school while also trying to navigate breakups, family tension, or long-standing patterns in relationships that you don’t fully understand yet. Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking, “I should be able to handle this,” but something still feels stuck. If you tend to be someone who cares deeply about others, takes on responsibility, and pushes through—even when it’s hard—you’re not alone. Many students I work with feel this way. They’re not broken or failing; they’re just tired of carrying everything by themselves. If you’re looking for a space where you can slow down, talk honestly, and learn practical ways to cope while also making sense of what you’re going through, we’ll likely work well together. You don’t have to have all the answers—just a willingness to show up as you are.

Who knew it would be so difficult to make it on your own, develop new relationships, and face the stresses of your late teens, 20s or 30s? Addressing struggles as you become an adult can present you with immediate and urgent challenges related to family, relationships, money, work, school, and confusion with your overall life path. This period of time is filled with moving from one place to another, sometimes one of familiarity to another one that feels totally foreign. Shifting responsibilities and demands at school or work can certainly cause confusion, self-doubt, and feeling overwhelmed. With these often turbulent years as a backdrop, you might begin to experience new distress that you’ve never felt before or knew existed. The onset of several mental health conditions typically show-up or are now seen as a problem during this time. Many have found that by working with me, they're able to tackle these unfamiliar and unhealthy events head on. This important life stage sets the foundation for the rest of your life; don't feel like you have to go it alone. I founded Grandview Therapy and Consulting, LLC. to provide individual therapy to those grappling with the challenges of adulthood. Charlie Health is a virtual behavioral health program for adolescents and young adults with moderate or severe mental health concerns or co-occurring substance use or eating disorders. Designed to meet the needs of those who require more than weekly therapy, our program combines curated group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy into personalized treatment programs. We are helping to serve those who are in crisis, or have been historically underserved, by eliminating the most significant treatment barriers: geographical and financial access. We work with nearly all commercial insurance nationwide and have no waitlist, thereby helping people access quality, evidence-based care regardless of insurance, location, or other barriers.
