I provide client-centered psychotherapy services that are tailored to the needs of each client. I draw from a variety of theoretical orientations including Psychodynamic (insight oriented) and behavioral (skills oriented) treatment approaches. I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents in both English and Japanese. Some areas of specialty include relationship issues, self esteem issues, life transitions, stress, anxiety, mood issues (depression), family issues and cross cultural adaptation. My clients describe me as warm, empathetic and genuine. I am concerned with understanding the full person with whom I am sitting, and not only their problems or symptoms.
