Are you a person experiencing depression or anxiety due to infertility, pregnancy or postpartum related issues? Are you a person who struggles to stay motivated with goals and feels stuck in life? Do you suffer from negative thoughts and feelings? I treat adults with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, OCD, life transitions, or low self-esteem. I also help to support and teach coping skills to individuals, or couples, experiencing any difficulties that can arise during pre-pregnancy, while pregnant, and after childbirth. With my diverse work history, I have created a unique perspective on how to treat and help my clients in ways you won’t find with other therapists. I use a combination of traditional talk therapy, strengths-based approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and lots of humor to help people gain the confidence and tools they need to feel better. No matter the reason for therapy, a person needs a place they feel safe to flourish again. As your therapist you will find that I provide a safe, nurturing, and confidential environment conducive to getting you better. I look forward to helping you find real solutions for real problems and to have a few laughs along on the way.
Hi, I work with people who feel stressed out or who are having reactions to difficult or traumatic experiences. I especially enjoy helping people process experiences unique to the LGBTQIA+ community. I have over 15 years of experience and specialized training in EMDR (a treatment for trauma) and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). Working with me feels like a collaborative conversation where I provide warmth and compassion as we strive to better understand the things that have been weighing you down. I work with people who are 18 years and older.
I earned my PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and I have worked in different settings including university/community counseling centers, dual diagnosis treatment centers, and psychiatric hospitals (Austen Riggs Center). I work from a psychoanalytic orientation. This approach emphasizes the importance of both past and present experiences, relationships, emotions, patterns of being, and the unconscious. While it is natural to want to move away from suffering, it is when we give it a voice that healing can begin. Though genetics can play a role in the development of psychiatric problems; symptoms are some of the ways our psyche and body deal with pain that has not been understood, contextualized, and articulated. My goal as a psychoanalytic therapist is to help my patients notice how their symptoms are not accidental experiences to dodge, but rather meaningful communications to explore. Only through this inquiry can patients tap into interpersonal and intrapersonal as well as conscious and unconscious phenomena that have shaped their life and continue to contribute to their suffering.
Are you seemingly okay on the outside, but uncomfortable and anxious underneath? Do relationships with family, friends, or romantic partners feel stressful? Perhaps you are struggling to figure out your path in college or after graduation? It’s really hard to navigate relationships and decisions for yourself now, for the first time! I believe college and your 20s are the most important time where you can shape your future by learning about yourself. Often, you grow up not really knowing you are and who you want to be, and feel lost when you try to figure this out. I’d love to support you as you navigate this time by really listening and understanding you, providing non-judgmental guidance and empathy, and asking you helpful questions. I focus on issues with life transitions (yes college and graduation), self esteem, anxiety, interpersonal conflict and communication, dating, perfectionism, break-ups, and stress. Common goals include reducing anxiety, finding a suitable partner, building connection, stronger communication, creating healthy boundaries, finding purpose/career, managing life transitions, and increasing coping skills and confidence. My clients don't fill empty spots! This is my passion and you are so important to me; I remember details and strategize between sessions ensuring you receive the best care in return for your commitment to therapy.
You are smart and capable but are struggling right now. Emotions are coming up that are uncomfortable and are making the life you want to live just harder. Whether it's old stuff like self-esteem or new stuff like grief or cultural adjustment, I work with you to help you get back on a healthier and happier path. I work with you in a very active yet nurturing manner. My style is direct, compassionate, yet a bit playful at times. :) You are unique and every therapist is not a perfect match for everyone. Due to that, I give a free 50-minute consultation prior to us committing to work together. Two things to know about my practice is that I am online only and that I am not on insurance panels (if you have out-of-network benefits, that might help with the cost). If you think we might be a good match, check out my website and then reach out for a consultation. :)

My clients learn about themselves in meaningful ways depending on what works best for them as we collaborate on their goals. It's an honor for me to guide clients in their therapeutic work, and my personal approach is authentic and empathetic while being down-to-earth and personable.

I’m am a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts, I received my Masters from Cambridge College and have been practicing for 4 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression and trauma. When clients meet with me they can expect to be in a safe environment where they can share their thoughts and feelings in a non judgmental space. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions. I will go over confidentiality, consents and privacy policy. I will gather some information through a bio-psycho social assessment about you and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us. Having worked with professionals for the past 4+ years, I've developed and tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
Hi! I'm Yasmine. I work clinically with adolescents, teenagers, and young adults grappling with issues ranging from anxiety to trauma to cultural identity shifts. Therapy creates a space to better understand ourselves and the way our past impacts our present. In sessions, I work with clients to uncover patterns that contribute to an overall feeling of dissatisfaction in life. This provides the roadmap to help clients build a life that feels full, joyful, and meaningful. Clients tell me that I am warm, non-judgemental, and bring a welcome sense of humor into sessions. Therapy can be hard work. But it is work that I love doing and something that I take very seriously. My practice is informed by my interest in psychology, sociology, anthropology, and feminist studies. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Brown University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. In the past decade, I have lived in Senegal, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Lebanon, and I bring a multicultural perspective into the therapeutic space.
