I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and Vermont with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University. I completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowships at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School, and I have experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns such as mood and anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and sleep problems. I work with adults of all ages adjusting to different life transitions from navigating mental health as a college student to improving executive functioning in school settings and daily life. I specialize in teaching clients coping skills from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I invite you to take the next step and give me a call. We can have a short, complimentary conversation about what you're looking for to help us determine if we may be a good fit to work together.
Do you ever find it difficult to stand on solid ground while the world is in constant motion around you and no matter what you do, it never feels like enough? We know life’s obstacles are unlikely to go away all together, but what if you were able to navigate them from a place of curiosity and self-compassion? I offer a relaxed, trauma-informed and non-judgemental space to collaboratively expand on the strengths you already possess and shift the patterns that no longer serve you. Together we can unlock your natural potential for healing and growth, and step into your authentic self with confidence and ease. As an EMDR and dance/movement therapist, my approach is rooted in the healing power of embodiment, mindfulness, creativity and a trusted therapeutic relationship. By increasing awareness of our thoughts and physical sensations in relation to our inner and outer world, we can more readily access ways of feeling grounded and empowered in our lives. If you are interested in taking the next step toward wellbeing or to learn more about my approach, please reach out via email for an initial consultation session.

I work with students who are experiencing a range of issues from anxiety, depression, questioning identity, family conflict, difficulty with the adjustment to school, social struggles and/or in need of future and career guidance. I am trained in a variety of techniques and pull from each of them to provide an individualized approach that is collaborative as well as strength based for each client. Life can be a lot! There are times when people may feel hopeless, isolated, or like they have no choice but to struggle alone. As a queer person, I know the importance of connection and community. My goal is to offer a space where you can feel safe in vulnerability and supported in facing challenges. I work primarily with adults and college-aged individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in emotion-focused, relational work. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities to find the best fit for your unique needs, believing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Being ready to start therapy doesn’t mean you have to feel ready to dive in head-first. Sometimes, the first challenge is simply taking that first step. If you want to do that, I will meet you at your pace with honesty, care, and respect as we work together toward understanding and change.
Due to the pandemic, I currently only offer telehealth visits.
I am a Clinical Psychologist and a psychoanalyst, specializing in work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, addiction, trauma, and identity issues. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply humanistic. I take a person-centered approach that honors your unique story and lived experience. Our work may also draw from psychoanalytic, existential, multicultural, and systemic perspectives to help uncover deeper patterns, explore meaning, and understand larger cultural and relational patterns. Clients often appreciate my ability to create a space that feels both compassionate and thoughtfully engaging—where you can feel understood while also being gently challenged to grow. My goal is to help you build insight, reconnect with your authentic self, and develop a stronger sense of clarity and empowerment in your life. I invite you to connect with me!

People come to see me when they feel stuck and have had enough. I help parents help their children; help couples and families get closer and happier; and in general help people successfully resolve issues such as: stress, anxiety, adjustment to new life circumstances (relocation, family changes), relationship issues (divorce, extra-marital affairs, conflict), and dealing with difficult family members. I also work with people interested in specific skill building such as: stress/anxiety management, assertiveness and dealing with conflict, communication, and more.
For nearly 15 years, I worked as a high school teacher, advisor, dean, and administrator. Working with adolescents was fun, rewarding, and dynamic. As a social worker, I have worked in college settings, residential substance use treatment, and a community mental health clinic. I have significant clinical experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use, and specialize in working with adolescents, college students and emerging adults. I bring a particular appreciation for the stage of life between childhood and full adulthood, an understanding of the pressures of this age range, and a wealth of experience helping people navigate the challenges of growing up. I feel comfortable working with people of all identities and backgrounds. I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults, Jewish and other faith communities, and older adults. I strive to be culturally competent and curious as I learn about another person. I believe everyone needs to be heard and helped regardless of religion, creed, or political beliefs.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed to diagnose and treat mental illness. I especially enjoy working with college students struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD and ADHD. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health at Vanderbilt University. As an NP, I have experience working at a major academic center working with patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where individuals can explore challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking clarity, I'm here to walk alongside you in your healing and growth.
My work is relationally based, and I additionally integrate the approaches of Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which are both mind/body modalities. These approaches have been transformational for myself and many clients I have witnessed because they offer an orientation of radical openness and compassionate inquiry about all parts of your experience.

My degree is from Northeastern University where I graduated with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and became Licensed in 1996. Most recently, I was the Director of Psychology for Wrentham Developmental Center and an Area Psychologist for the Department of Developmental Services. Previously, I had my own private practice where I facilitated numerous social groups, provided individual and family therapy, and served as a Consultant to Cranston ARC, and Bristol Community College. In joining Needham Psychotherapy Associates, I am returning to my passion for clinical work. My approach would be considered eclectic, involving systems work, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive behavioral supports, and psychodynamic or insight-oriented work. In my view, the modality of therapy is often determined by the issues that one presents with as well as the style and comfort level of both the therapist and the client. It is important to me that the process of therapy is collaborative, sometimes humorous, and that clients are empowered to make choices in the course of their treatment. Simultaneously, I think there are times when clients need to be challenged to make further growth and progress. I love stories and the stories of people’s lives. In therapy, my style would involve asking a lot of open-ended questions to learn more about your story and your journey. Therapy should involve clients feeling, safe, challenged, and learning strategies and approaches to handle your problems more effectively. In the end, ideally clients will feel better about themselves and their world. Most definitely, I believe that there are times that clients should laugh in therapy, as humor and laughing are an important part of healing. I love working with young adults and the new ways they have of looking at the world as well as helping them navigate their present challenges and future transitions.
Much of my work focuses on supporting clients as they navigate identity, relationships, and life transitions. While I welcome individuals from all backgrounds, I have particular experience supporting Young Adults and Asian American clients, especially those balancing multicultural identities, family expectations, and cultural values. My therapeutic approach has been informed by work in emergency units, inpatient settings, and college campuses. I focus on meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we identify goals that matter to you and explore patterns or concerns you’d like to understand more deeply or approach differently. I value open communication and believe growth often happens when we gently step into discomfort. I integrate evidence-based approaches while staying mindful of how your unique experiences have shaped your perspective and sense of self. Sessions are intentional and structured, with an emphasis on insight, self-understanding, and meaningful change.
