My approach to treatment is to create a space that is supportive and empathetic so that the client will be in a place to build rapport, explore issues that are interfering with their quality of life, and develop a better sense of goals and the means to reach them. I operate from a Strength-based and Cognitive-behavioral therapy lens with elements of other modalities. I am a strong believer in using mindfulness when approaching issues like anxiety and depression. I see the client as a person affected by the systems that make up their lives. I understand the importance of family work as a part of the process of helping an individual. The most important aspect of treatment is the relationship between the therapist and the client. Without trust, it is impossible to get any real work done. When you walk into my office you can expect a space that is free of judgment and completely client-centered.
Are you sick and tired of feeling anxious or overwhelmed? Are you having trouble sleeping and focusing? Are your relationships becoming more challenging because you're irritable? I can help. I work hard in a collaborative effort with you focusing on the issues you bring to the table and we will develop a treatment plan together. I have experience with the difficulties associated with transitioning into college and all of the social and emotional stressors that come with it. Anxiety, depression, social isolation, and academic pressure, are all issues that I have had much success in helping other students manage successfully. I've got you!
At Atlantic Behavioral Health in Wilmington, we’re here for college students from nearby towns—like Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Salem State commuters from Woburn, Endicott College students in Burlington, or Merrimack College folks just a few towns over in North Andover—who are grinding through school but wrestling with mental health hurdles. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for students like you—maybe you’re a Merrimack undergrad swamped by stress from late-night study sessions, or a commuter juggling classes and work but feeling crushed by anxiety that’s tanking your focus. We connect best with those pushing hard but struggling with things like low moods, constant worry, or even gambling habits that started as a distraction but took over. We’re a perfect match for students ready to face feeling off—whether it’s skipping hangouts because you’re drained, reeling from a rough grade or family chaos, or just wanting to clear the mental fog—without putting college on pause. Our clients usually want to get back in the driver’s seat—nailing that group project, chilling with friends, or enjoying a weekend without overanalyzing everything. Right off Route 93, we’re a quick drive from Billerica, Tewksbury, or Andover, and we’re super flexible with morning, afternoon, and evening IOP sessions. Got daytime classes? Our evening sessions let you stay on top of school while getting support after hours. Whether you’re the over-thinker who’s spiraling, the risk-taker who’s lost control of betting, or the quiet one hiding how hard it’s been, our IOP gives you a no-judgment space to sort it out with a team that gets the student hustle. With options to fit your life—morning for early risers, afternoon for mid-day breaks, or evening to keep your days free—we’re here to help you tackle your mental health and keep your college groove. Ready to feel stronger and more like yourself? We’re just a short trip away.

I am a licensed mental health counselor. My goal is to support clients with their mental health as well as stress management, relationship issues, and finding the appropriate services. Therapy does not have to solely be for people in crisis. Being proactive with your mental health and attending therapy can have long-lasting benefits. My first goal when starting with a client is building rapport. In order for therapy to be effective, there needs to be a mutual trust between the client and therapist. I primarily use a cognitive behavioral and person centered approach to therapy. Although every session typically includes “talk therapy,” I also try to use a variety of interventions. I also have a therapy dog in my office who loves to cuddle on the couch with patients.
We welcome and support clients of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, religious backgrounds, and people with disabilities. We have behavioral health providers with diverse approaches to treatment, who collaborate with you to create a treatment environment that feels most helpful to the goals you’re trying to achieve. Just by looking; you are taking the first step in self-care. You are showing that you have the strength to seek support, even if its hard for you to do! Let us help you gain tools to manage life's stressors in tolerable ways.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating adolescents and young adults. I have almost 25 years of experience working with individuals and families. I love supporting college students who are in a unique position of figuring out who they are and how they want to be in the world. It is a time of great transition and growth. I specialize in treating eating disorders and body image, and I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, relationship problems, life transitions, stress, and addiction. I balance insight and understanding with skills and practical tools for change. I believe that people always have the capacity to grow and change. We’ll work together to determine your goals for treatment and to develop a plan that meets those goals. I believe psychotherapy is most effective within the context of a trusting relationship, and I work hard to establish a real connection without judgement with each individual. People describe me as warm, compassionate, supportive, and I have also been known to be direct and humorous. I look forward to the opportunity to help you to be the best person you can be.

Welcome! It takes a lot of guts to look for a therapist and by doing so you’re already starting the hard work of healing. Every part of yourself is safe to exist in my therapy office: the scared, the angry, the perfectionist, the beautiful. My goal is to allow your whole self to feel seen and understood, without judgment. Clients have described me as approachable and having a healthy dose of humor. I lead my sessions with a warm, friendly, and empathetic demeanor. I’ll laugh with you, cry with you, challenge you, and support you through your difficult moments. I aim for our work to be a partnership. Together we can find ways to tame your harsh inner critic and establish skills to work through the hard stuff. We will approach your thoughts, feelings, and actions with a sense of curiosity and compassion. I specialize in art therapy and would love to utilize art in your therapeutic journey. Sometimes there aren't words to describe how you’re feeling and art can help find the words you've been struggling to say. Don’t worry, you don't have to be a talented artist – but it can be nice to have a physical representation of your emotions.

I identify as a neurodiverse (ND) autistic psychologist. Like many, I discovered at midlife I’m on the “invisible” end of the spectrum. I now specialize in assisting other ND/autistic adults & their allies as they a) explore identity/diagnosis, b) cope with ongoing life adjustments/ND burnout & c) make informed choices about how/when it is safe to “unmask.” I help clients: identify personal life/career-related challenges, build upon strengths, & make constructive changes to create a ‘right-sized’ life. I’m a multicultural-educated ally & offer affirming space for marginalized folx (BIPOC, LGBTQAI+, ENM/polyamory, differently-abled). 21+ years of clinical expertise in: private practice, Harvard Medical School postdoc, Penn State & Illinois State University counseling & career centers. I’m passionate about meeting clients where they’re at & providing psychoeducation. I encourage self-advocacy, clear communication, healthcare providers’ collaboration, & improved social support networks. We co-create sacred space that welcomes authentic sharing, tears, & laughter. I have an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) work with me; a calm sweet cat. Many people find a therapy animals’ presence comforting for co-regulation. Please share good days/times to reach you.
