Hardworking, ambitious, fucking exhausted. I work with women (18–30) who look like they have it together but are absolutely depleting themselves to stay that way. They’re responsible, creative, used to handling a lot…but they’re tired of overthinking, second-guessing, or feeling like no matter how hard they work, it’s never enough. Some have anxiety, depression, ADHD, or trauma histories. Others just know something feels off, that life feels heavier than it should. Often, they’re great at coping on the outside, which can make it hard to admit they’re struggling at all. But let’s be honest: Appearing “fine” is a full-time job. In therapy, we slow things down on purpose. We look at the patterns you’ve been stuck in — people-pleasing, avoidance, self-criticism — and figure out what’s actually driving them. We work with your nervous system instead of fighting against it. We build practical tools that help you move forward in your life. My style is warm, direct, & honest. I care deeply about my clients and will absolutely challenge you when it matters. I use EMDR, ACT, & DBT skills in ways that are personal and actually useful.

Many of the clients I work with share a deep sense of responsibility for others and struggle to feel permission to rest, take up space, or express their own needs. They’re often self-aware and thoughtful but find themselves stuck in old patterns of people-pleasing, over-functioning, or self-criticism. My clients are usually seeking relief from anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and disconnection from self, longing instead for steadiness, self-trust, and relationships that feel mutual and safe.

There may be points in our lives where circumstances, relationships or life events are impacting our well-being. My goal is to be a collaborative partner and a support as we navigate through the process of self-discovery, recovery and healing. It takes courage to take the first step and I want to respect and honor the vulnerability that comes with the process. However, there is hope and each client brings their inherent strengths and experience to the process. I work with various therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I also use other evidenced-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI), somatic and mindfulness-based practices to best address the needs of each client. I am passionate about working with clients experiencing life transitions, depression, communication challenges, relationships issues, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, family issues, peer relationships, social connection, and young adult issues. I value working with students and enjoy helping others navigate what can be a challenging stage in life. Your journey is meaningful, and I am excited to share the process of discovery and growth with you and be a support by offering tools and skills to help you navigate through to reach your goals. I believe in healing through corrective experiences. It is possible to heal from trauma & anxiety, rather than just learning coping with it! I prefer to use methods that are designed to alleviate the distress associated with painful memories. This includes Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and other Experiential Therapy modalities that are proven to be equally as effective in a virtual setting.

With over 25 years of experience, I find collage students amongst my favorite population to work with. College life offers so many opportunities and yet so many challenges be it stress and anxiety, social/relationship challenges and even time management. My approach is gently but if you some firm guidance and life coaching I can be that person too! Sometimes taking the first steps can feel intimidating but I encourage you to be brave and know you will be met with a therapist who truly cares and will not ever judge you, blame you or shame you. This is about you getting the most out of your life!

At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, we work best with college students who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or uncertain—even if everything looks “fine” on the outside. Many of the students we support are balancing classes, work, family expectations, relationships, and the pressure to figure out their future, all at the same time. You may be experiencing constant stress, anxiety that makes it hard to focus, low confidence, or feeling stuck in your own head. Some students come to us feeling burned out, disconnected, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others are navigating depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and support is available. Our practice is built on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can openly talk about what they’re going through without feeling rushed, labeled, or misunderstood. We focus on meeting you where you are and tailoring care to your individual needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. At Taylor’s Touch of Clarity, counseling is a collaborative process. We believe progress happens best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their growth. Our clinicians work alongside students to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and strengthen confidence in both academic and personal areas of life. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, we help students identify their values, recognize their strengths, and develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, mood challenges, and relationship concerns. Our goal is not just to help you get through college, but to support you in building skills and self-understanding that will serve you well beyond it.
