Feeling alone, gripped in anxiety and despair and other painful emotions, you might not think that anyone could possibly understand or help. As an experienced mental health professional, I know how to listen to your unique story and how to help you disentangle from the symptoms that are holding you back. Using intuitive listening skills and coming from a place of deep empathy, I will work with you, teaching you how to integrate new thinking and being skills into your life. Using Acceptance and Integration Training and depth psychotherapy, along with my extensive experience with a wide variety of people, I will help you feel better and get back on your feet towards living the life you want. I aim to help you discover your own unique inner wisdom, building awareness and emotional health for life. I work with each client individually and collaboratively to create long-term and short-term goals. For many clients the goals often include disentangling from anxiety and depression symptoms. This includes building new skills and habits that can be used on a daily basis to feel good and to prevent the symptoms from reoccurring. My clients report feeling peaceful, powerful, whole, hopeful and grounded after a session of Acceptance and Integration techniques.

I work best with students dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or all of the above. A lot of the students I see feel overwhelmed, burned out, stuck in their heads, or frustrated with focus and motivation. Some are looking for medication support, others want non-med options, and many want a mix of both. If meds haven’t worked well before, caused side effects, or just didn’t feel like the full answer, you’re not alone. My approach combines medication treatment with practical, non-med strategies to support your nervous system, focus, mood, and day-to-day life. We’ll work together to figure out what’s actually going on and create a plan that fits you—not a one-size-fits-all approach. If you want care that takes ADHD, anxiety, and depression seriously while still seeing you as a whole person, you might be a good fit here.

My expertise lies in working with young adults, ranging in age from late teens to 20’s and 30’s. I view the relationship between therapist and client as a partnership. We will work together to get you where you want to be. I work with a variety of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, sexual orientation and identity, self-esteem, substance abuse and life transitions. I am currently offering teletherapy sessions and I am accepting new clients. Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
Is it time to reach out to a therapist? Maybe you haven't had something traumatic with a capital "T" happen in your life, but doesn't being on planet Earth feel like enough reason to start therapy? We can't escape from life's many stressors and occasionally deep wounding, but we can change the way we relate and cope with them, and lessen their negative effect on us. We can observe how we get in our own way, and get to the root cause of what blocks us from fulfillment. With compassion, mutual trust, and a little humor, let's transform your life, and finally break out of the unhelpful patterns that have held you back. I can help you expand your self-awareness, heal from emotional wounding, and support you navigating your life in a way that aligns with your authentic values. I offer psychotherapy with a mindfulness and cognitive approach while teaching you to tap into the wisdom of your emotions' helpful messages. Finding a therapist feels overwhelming, I understand. I do my best to create a comfortable atmosphere where you feel free to be you. I am committed to excellence and value my clients' time. With a chat, let's determine if we are a good fit and start towards your goals.
As a first generation college student my self, I work well with most students who also struggle with the college culture, academic expectations, anxiety, and social stressors in these current times as well. I am direct, patient, accepting, able to follow most any communication style. I can help you set up and meet attainable goals, and provide a safe, controlled environment with minimal disruption to your daily life. I believe in helping you engage your mind, body and spirit to help you reach your greatest potential.
College and young adulthood can be an exciting but stressful time. People may see you as focused and driven, but inside you feel more scattered and anxious than they realize. Perfectionism and an internal critic run your schedule. School, work, relationships, finding time for yourself—you feel like it's all too much, but you also worry you're not doing enough. You often say "Yes" when you want to say, "No, I can't handle one more thing!" Trying to manage ADHD, trauma, or just your day-to-day mood on top of everything feels extra exhausting. You wish you could feel balanced, confident, more at ease... maybe even kinder to yourself. I can help you navigate the "typical" aspects of young adulthood that are actually more challenging than they look. We'll focus on what's most important to you, whether that's exploring internal dynamics or learning new skills to cope with the daily tough stuff. My therapy style is interactive, collaborative, and inclusive—both tears and laughter are always welcome. I know starting therapy can feel tough, but finding a great therapist shouldn't be. To that end, I'm happy to offer you a free consultation to answer your questions, connect a bit, and see if I'm a good fit for your therapy needs. Please reach out to schedule a call!
