Anxiety, depression, relationship stress. We all face challenges, and we do the best we can with what we know, and what we have, in the moment.
Some of us hold onto “the hurt” for years and years until it becomes so faint— so normalized— we lose the ability to fully remember what life unburdened by “the hurt” can feel like. As a trauma therapist, my goal is to help you regain autonomy, awareness, and understanding over your life, your relationships, and your path forward. Each and every part of you has played a role in helping you survive “the world as it is.” My goal is to help you discover the slice of “the world as it should be,” mobilizing you towards finding healing community, chosen family, or space where you can flourish— where hypervigilance and fear melt away. I work best with fellow creatives, performers, organizers, underdogs, self-starters, former gifted kids, healers, survivors, and meaning seekers. I’m not easily shocked or appalled— you don’t have to be ashamed of your lived experience, and you are never going to be “too much.” All who are Queer, Trans, -of Color, (Dis)abled, & Neurodiverse are especially welcome. I have seven years of experience in supporting people on their life transitions and mental wellness journey as a life coach & case manager prior to becoming a Licensed Social Worker. I’m been training and practicing with Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy since 2021 for both individuals and couples. I’m also cohort member of the Embody Lab’s next Integrstive Somatic Trauma Therapy Certification for Fall 2025. If you are a survivor of sexual assault or other crimes of a similar nature in Pennsylvania, I may be able to offer net-zero fee therapy under PA’s Victims Conpensation Assistance Program. I’m here for the short-term or the long-haul— your healing journey is in your hands, and you determine the pace and speed we go. If you need someone to press you forward and hold you accountable, I can do that. If you need someone to just “hold space” until you’re ready to do something later, I often do that too. The door is always open. Talk soon? P.S. I unironically and unapologetically LOVE em dashes— hands off, GenAI!
Has something terrible happened recently, like an assault, an accident, or a sudden loss? Is being away from home bringing up things from the past that you thought were behind you? Are you struggling to focus, keep up with assignments, or sleep through the night without nightmares? Maybe it feels hard just to leave your dorm or show up at all. Being in college can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re carrying the weight of something painful. I specialize in trauma therapy for college students who are ready for support but don’t want to spend every session rehashing what happened. We’ll use tools that help your mind and body feel calmer, even when it’s hard to talk about it. The kind of therapy I offer helps rewire the brain, which can change how your trauma affects you, how you feel about yourself, and how you experience the world around you. I’m an inclusive therapist who welcomes students of all identities and backgrounds. You’ll be met as you are, without judgment. If any of this sounds familiar, reach out for a free consultation. We’ll talk through what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good fit.

Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm a licensed professional counselor with nearly 10 years of experience working with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD. I provide in-person therapy in Lancaster and virtual therapy across Pennsylvania. I also have expertise in helping clients manage stress, insomnia, and burnout. I enjoy helping clients identify healthy, sustainable boundaries for their life, work, and relationships. I seek to work with clients holistically and collaboratively, creating practical goals for lasting change. I also specialize in working with clients on understanding and setting healthy work-life and relationship boundaries, managing stress, improving executive functioning, and processing life transitions. It is my goal to help you experience freedom, hope and lasting change. Therapy works not only because of scientific evidence, it also works because it's a relationship. And while relationships can break, they can also heal. I would love to hear your story, your hopes, your truth. Let's walk together on this healing journey.
Whatever brought you to finding me, whether it is seeking therapy for the first time or not finding a connection with multiple therapists, congrats on not throwing in the towel. Finding treatment is an arduous task, and I commend you for it. I focus on finding solutions and am confident we can be a good fit, so let's start the conversation.
Many of us wrestle to find hope in our lives, move forward, or just make it through the day. Depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and loss can take away motivation, causing struggle and suffering. This can change. Perhaps you're determining which life path to take or are dealing with the wounds of past trauma, abuse, or painful experiences. You don't have to carry this weight alone. I provide an unbiased, nonjudgmental space to explore what is hindering you and overcome obstacles in healthy, supportive ways.
Hi. I'm Dana! I work with people who just want to feel better. Whether you have been struggling with for a long time or something new that has come up, I'm here to listen and support you. I want the people I work with to feel they can live more authentically, manage their own mental health, and work through stress and burnout that gets in the way. Whether you feel misunderstood, stuck, or just have trouble trying to become your own person, I'm here to support you on the path to making things make sense.
Many of my clients feel overwhelmed with life's stressors and are looking for support and healthy coping skills. I also work with clients who have experienced trauma. I have provided counseling for survivors of sexual abuse for many years. Creating a safe space where clients can come without judgment and building an authentic relationship is my priority. Healing looks different for each person. I encourage my clients to decide what they need and then work alongside them to support their goals.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania (and all 40+ PSYPACT participating states). I work with adults and teenagers with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship challenges, and eating disorders. I specialize in therapy for eating disorders and balance CBT for eating disorders with practices of intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES). I am licensed in DC, MD, NJ, PA, and VA and provide flexible teletherapy to fit your busy schedule! I hold advanced certification in an evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) model developed by Dr. David Burns at Stanford. I am also certified in CBT for insomnia (CBT-I) developed by Dr. Gregg Jacobs at Harvard. My approach is empathic, structured and active. I use brief mood surveys before and after sessions, to monitor progress and give you a chance to provide me with feedback. I will also expect you to practice new skills between sessions. When we start working together, I will learn about your unique situation to help us set goals and develop a personalized treatment plan. My clients typically start experiencing relief within a few sessions, and our work together results in lasting joy and fulfillment. I work closely with individuals experiencing trauma concerns, relationship difficulties, identity & self-esteem challenges, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with have learned to prioritize others' needs, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Clients come to me seeking deeper self-understanding, more secure relationships, and a stronger sense of safety—both within themselves and in connection to others. You may find that past relationships and life experiences continue to shape how you see yourself, navigate relationships, set boundaries, or respond to stress. I use a person-centered, attachment-focused, and somatic-based approach. Utilizing trauma-informed care, I often incorporate mind-body approaches and focus on nervous system support. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and others—so you can move toward the life you want with clarity and strength.
