I've spent 18 years working with teens as a high school counselor and teacher. Now as an LPC Associate, I use this previous experience to support adolescents and young adults as they navigate today's challenges. As a former educator, I have seen first hand the pressure that academics, social groups, and today's changing world can place on adolescents. Teens develop anxiety, stress, and negative coping skills to deal with this pressure. I help adolescents overcome these challenges by helping them explore their values, emotions, practice new coping strategies, and develop confidence that they will carry into adulthood.

Ever feel like you're always just "catching up" or you're on the "outside" looking in? As an Autistic professional, I love assisting other neurodivergent individuals in navigating a neurotypical world. I offer a judgement-free, solution-oriented space where authenticity is the only agenda and an "eyes wide open" approach that uses precision and depth to uncover what’s hidden. I serve adult clients who may be experiencing identity and worldview transitions, shame and perfectionism, anxiety, as well as grief and depression. My specialty is helping clients succeed in their search for self-trust and direction. Life is a story full of unexpected twists and chapter breaks. It can be easy to lose the plot along the way. I primarily utilize Existential Psychotherapy with aspects of SFBT, emphasizing elements such as meaning-making, authenticity, and personal agency. This makes my approach highly adaptive to your specific journey. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with my master's degree in Counseling and Development and am licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Billie Baker, LPC-S, and Dr. James Parker, LP. I offer in-person and teletherapy sessions with Dallas Therapy Associates.

I believe therapy is a space for growth and change that can lead to stronger relationships, healthier ways of functioning, and a deeper sense of well-being. In our work together, I’ll bring empathy, respect, and genuine care. My role is to support you in becoming more self-aware and confident, while helping you make the changes you want to see in your life. To me, therapy is a collaborative process. I’m not here to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as a guide, a support, and sometimes just a steady presence while you navigate life’s challenges. I truly believe that everyone has the ability to grow and the responsibility to pursue that growth when they’re ready. I also believe our relationships with family, partners, friends, or chosen community play a huge role in our overall well-being. When those connections feel off or strained, it can affect so many other areas of life. Whether we're working one-on-one, with a couple, or with a family, I take a systemic approach to understand the bigger picture and help shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck. And I know that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll work together to find what feels right for you. Most importantly, I’ll offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you're carrying stress, uncertainty, or emotional pain. My goal working with clients is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel seen, understood, and valued just as you are. I work with clients who are navigating life, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, etc. I take a strengths-based, relational approach to therapy, meaning I focus not only on the difficulties you're facing, but also on the resilience, insight, and abilities you already bring into the room. Together, we build on those strengths to foster growth, healing, and meaningful change. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection. I prioritize developing a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to explore their experiences at their own pace. I meet you where you are at! As someone who is half Turkish, I also value cultural identity, background, and lived experiences as essential parts of the therapeutic process. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, therapy can be a place to find that and I would be honored to support you in that.
I do trauma therapy using multiple techniques but emphasizing EMDR, the most powerful and effective treatment for trauma. Life is tough, but it is tougher when you are burdened with emotional triggers from past trauma. I love working with gen Z; you are young and EMDR is remarkably effective in treating trauma symptoms in younger brains. It is a joy to see you freed from the burden of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and difficulties with emotion regulation. Please check out my website below for further information on EMDR.
Many people start thinking about therapy because, emotionally, they don’t feel good. Maybe your emotions end up taking you for a ride and you feel helpless to stop it. Emotions come and go, but they can sometimes feel endless, especially if they are intense. Or maybe you are struggling to get in touch with your emotions and you find it difficult to connect. Either way, what ends up making it worse is the power struggle we get into with our own emotions. We want to push away the ones that feel bad and force the ones that feel good, but that never works for long. Wouldn’t it be easier to avoid the power struggle completely?
