You're facing something big. A life change, illness, sadness, grief, or maybe just the quiet sense that something needs to shift. You don't have to face it alone. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people facing cancer, one of life’s toughest curveballs. I offer compassionate therapy rooted in real human connection, emotional resilience, and the belief that healing is possible—even in the shadow of loss, uncertainty and change. Whether you're navigating a major life change, illness, grief, or simply trying to hold yourself together during a hard season—I’m here to help you find steadiness, meaning, and your next step forward.

If you’re here, you’ve likely been carrying more than most people realize. You may look capable, successful, or “put together” on the outside while feeling deeply exhausted from years of masking, perfectionism, and pushing past your limits just to keep up—with coursework, expectations, and the pace of academic life. You may be questioning whether you’re autistic, ADHD, or both—or beginning to make sense of a diagnosis that brings relief, grief, anger, and clarity all at once. Those patterns weren’t personal failures. They were understandable responses to learning and living in systems that were never designed for your nervous system. If you’re struggling to keep up with coursework, feeling chronically exhausted, or wondering why college feels so much harder than it seems to be for others, you’re not alone. Many neurodivergent college students experience burnout and overwhelm—not because they lack intelligence or motivation, but because they are trying to function within systems that weren’t designed for how their brains work. I’m a licensed clinical therapist and a late-diagnosed AuDHD (autistic & ADHD) adult. I offer neurodiversity-affirming support for neurodivergent college students navigating academic pressure, identity questions, masking, and nervous system overload—particularly those who are autistic, ADHD, or beginning to understand their neurodivergence during their academic journey. I bring both clinical training and lived experience to this work, which means you don’t have to translate yourself, justify your needs, or perform neurotypicality here. My Approach As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent therapist, I center neurodiversity-affirming care that rejects pathology-based models and honors neurological differences as natural human variation—not deficits to be corrected. I recognize that masking, burnout, and many mental health challenges often emerge from systemic ableism rather than individual deficits, and that neurodivergent individuals from marginalized communities often face compounded barriers to diagnosis and support. My work is grounded in an intersectional, trauma-informed, evidence-based approach designed for neurodivergent nervous systems. I center lived experience, context, and sustainability rather than pathologizing difference, and I create a space where students don’t have to perform neurotypicality to receive quality care. Intersecting identities are respected and honored throughout the therapeutic process. This work is about understanding your life in context—and creating support that fits you, rather than forcing yourself to fit the system. I offer this work through two connected pathways of support: therapy and learning. Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy for College Students I offer individual therapy for college students navigating anxiety, depression, autistic or ADHD burnout, perfectionism, trauma, and the long-term impact of masking. My work is trauma-informed and specifically designed for neurodivergent nervous systems, centering regulation, sustainability, and self-understanding rather than performance or “pushing through.” I frequently work with students experiencing autistic and ADHD burnout, unmasking, anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, and the cumulative impact of spending years trying to appear “fine” in academic environments. Many students I support carry internalized shame and self-doubt that never truly belonged to them—formed not because something was wrong with them, but because they were expected to function in systems that ignored their capacity, sensory needs, and neurological differences. Therapy provides a relational, responsive space to process your lived experience in real time. This path supports integration, healing, and meaningful change through attuned clinical work shaped collaboratively around what emerges—at a pace that respects your nervous system, academic demands, and capacity. Psychoeducational Online Courses In addition to therapy, I offer neurodiversity-affirming psychoeducational online courses available worldwide. These self-paced courses provide language, frameworks, and insight around neurodivergence, burnout, masking, and identity—allowing students to learn and reflect on their own timeline and energy level. These courses offer flexible engagement that honors your capacity, timing, and access alongside school responsibilities. Courses may be used on their own or alongside therapy, depending on your needs and circumstances. Both pathways are grounded in the same values: clarity over correction, understanding over judgment, and building a life that genuinely fits. You’re invited to choose what aligns best with your current needs—and to let that choice evolve over time. Academic & Self-Advocacy Support College systems often require students to advocate for themselves in ways that can feel confusing or overwhelming. In therapy, I help students make sense of their needs, develop self-advocacy skills, and build realistic study systems and routines that align with their neurology. I support students in clarifying what accommodations and supports are helpful, organizing relevant documentation, and approaching conversations with professors or campus support services from a grounded, informed place. When appropriate, I also provide documentation to support academic accommodations. Flexible, Private Telehealth Therapy services are provided via secure telehealth for clients physically located in Minnesota, Florida, Arizona, and Ohio. Telehealth allows you to attend sessions from your own space without navigating campus logistics or sensory overload, making support more accessible during busy or demanding academic schedules. Fees & Insurance I am a private-pay, out-of-network provider. I partner with Thrizer to simplify out-of-network reimbursement, accept HSA/FSA funds, offer CareCredit for therapy packages, and reserve a limited number of reduced-rate spots to support accessibility. If you’re feeling exhausted, confused, or stuck after years of trying harder in school, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. You deserve support where your neurodivergence is respected, your needs are valued, and your voice matters. There is a different way forward—one that honors your nervous system and lived experience. You’re welcome to reach out when you’re ready. If you’d like more information about my approach, therapy services, or learning resources, you’re welcome to visit my website for additional details: https://www.neuro-divergent-therapy.com

I’m a therapist who believes you can be both deeply thoughtful and occasionally overwhelmed by your own brain—because, well, you’re human. I specialize in working with people navigating trauma, high-functioning anxiety, and/or depression—especially those who look like they “have it all together” on the outside while quietly carrying a lot on the inside. If you’re the reliable one, the overthinker, the person others turn to (but rarely pause to ask how you’re doing), you’re in the right place. I am a Clinical Social Worker and a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. Together, we’ll create a personalized therapy experience that supports your goals—whether you want to reduce anxious thoughts, lift your mood, process trauma, or simply feel more grounded and at home in your body. If you are interested in a telehealth meeting from anywhere in Minnesota, please let me know! Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you make sense of your experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been buried under stress, expectations, or past pain. You don't need to carry it all on your own.

Hi, I’m Taiah. I provide virtual therapy for teens and adults, including individuals, couples, and families. I’m especially focused on neuro-affirming care and creating a space where neurodivergent students and others feel understood, respected, and not pressured to mask or fit a narrow idea of how they “should” communicate or function. I work with people navigating school stress, burnout, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and patterns that feel hard to shift. My approach is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change. I draw from CBT, DBT, strengths-based, and systemic approaches, and tailor support to each person’s needs, communication style, and goals. My goal is to make therapy practical, accessible, and grounded in real life. My background includes outpatient therapy, eating disorder care, and supporting families and couples impacted by substance use. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent students, parents, couples, and families who want to build environments and relationships that feel more authentic and sustainable.

At BattleRobin Counseling, we harness the power of games and storytelling to foster social skills, confidence, and genuine connection. Our specialized individual and group therapy sessions are designed for those seeking to overcome life's challenges and build meaningful relationships with themselves and others. We believe that the narratives we craft about our identities and purposes shape our experiences and approach to life. Our mission is to empower you to redefine your self-narrative and embark on your own hero's journey. Let us help you unlock your potential and navigate your unique path with confidence and clarity. In our Roll for Growth group, we use the game Dungeons & Dragons to help those experiencing social anxiety, isolation, loneliness, and confusion about building lasting relationships. Therapeutically Applied Role-Playing Game (TA-RPG) groups integrate therapy skills and processing into gameplay and group discussions. Group members explore their personal challenges through the characters they play, working on barriers to living well and relating authentically. They are encouraged to take valued actions in character and to translate these in-game experiences into their everyday lives. The group fosters self-awareness, self-identity, social skills, flexible thinking, and valued action. Individual therapy services are also available and tailored to each client’s clinical, cultural, and personal needs. Dr. Allison Battles approaches therapy from an integrative, culturally sensitive perspective, helping clients explore their self-understanding and community connections to live a more authentic, values-driven life. Cultural humility is central to our clinical care, and Dr. Battles specializes in working with LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, religiously diverse individuals, military personnel, and veterans. She focuses on aiding those recovering from trauma and chronic stress, with expertise in healing complex PTSD, attachment-based traumas, and moral injury. BattleRobin Counseling is committed to community engagement, striving to provide greater access to mental health information and resources. We offer training and consultation services for therapeutic, educational, coaching, and gaming professionals, enabling more individuals to benefit from the life-enriching power of games and storytelling.

Do you feel different parts of yourself are fighting and pulling you in opposite directions? I support individuals navigating young adulthood, immigration-related experiences, identity exploration, and the lifelong process of self-discovery. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can be a meaningful place to start. My work integrates Psychodynamic Theory, Internal Family Systems, Existential counseling, and Somatic interventions. I often ask questions, such a, “What is this behavior doing here?” This process creates a compassionate dialogue between the different shades of you. If this resonates with you, I would be honored to walk with you on your path toward greater self-understanding and growth. It is important to note I operate on a private-pay model to 1. To protect your privacy and confidentiality. 2. To give you the best therapeutic approach rather than insurance deciding your treatment. 3. No labeling. The best mental health care occurs when the patient's needs are prioritized and deeply integrated into the treatment plan. Whether you're dealing with anxious thoughts, phobias, learning difficulties, physical symptoms tied to mental health, depression, grief, or feeling like a dark cloud is always blocking out your light, help is available. By creating a judgment-free environment that fosters safe and open communication, we’ll work together to carefully assess your or your loved one’s unique situation and develop the most effective care plan. I believe the key to addressing many unwanted feelings and behaviors lies in combining holistic and pharmacological approaches, including modifying one's environment, engaging in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and using medications to address chemical imbalances in the brain. As your provider, I will work diligently to create a personalized medication plan that alleviates your challenges while minimizing tolerable side effects. Additionally, using evidence-based measurement tools, we can track treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments along the way. Schedule your appointment with me by simply clicking on the "Visit Website" link below!

Do you feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together? Maybe you have always been the responsible one or the person others rely on. You pushed through stress, anxiety, and family challenges because you felt like you had to. At first it seemed manageable, but now the pressure feels heavier and harder to carry. On the outside you appear confident and put together. Inside you might feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or worried that you cannot keep this up much longer. Wanting a break does not mean you are failing. It means you are human. I’m Sara, and I help students who are tired of perfectionism, constant pressure, and the weight of expectations. I work with people who want healthier relationships, better communication, and support as they process past experiences that still affect them today. My background includes ACT, CBT, TF-CBT, Brainspotting, and group therapy training, which allows me to tailor our work to what you need. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, honest, and real environment where you can finally let your guard down. I show up as myself so you can feel comfortable showing up as yourself too. You deserve a space where you can put down the pressure you have been carrying and focus on feeling grounded, supported, and hopeful. I am here to help you get there.
